Meet the 2018-19 Shakti Fellowship

Our cohort comes together from different countries, varying backgrounds and all ages. Here is a short introduction to our fellowship of 2018-19.

Marianna Brasel

Marianna Brasel is the General Manager of Porsche of West Houston, located in the Energy Corridor in Houston, Texas.  As the General Manger, she oversees day to day operations within the dealership including store profitability and expense management, advertising and marketing, maintaining Porsche manufacturer relationship, client communication and retention, and associate development.

Marianna is very active in the community and has partnered Porsche of West Houston with several organizations including University of Houston, Lymphoma Research Foundation, Star of Hope, and numerous other charitable organizations.

Marianna is also a proud mother of two beautiful boys.  She teaches her children that every day is an opportunity to make a difference in the world.  Whether in your personal or professional life, wake up with the desire to be incredible and then go after it.  Today you have the chance to be even greater than yesterday… maximize every minute of it!

Caroline Baan

Caroline Baan was born in Delft in the Netherlands and currently lives in Utrecht. She studied Biology and earned her PhD in 1999. Since 2001 she works at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) in several (management) positions; for about 10 years, Caroline Baan was head of the department Quality of Care and Health Economics and from October 2018 onwards, she will be Chief Science Officer at the RIVM. In addition, she is professor of Integrated Health Care at Tilburg University. Caroline is a certified coach in the Tiara Model for True Leadership. She is committed to connecting people, and creating space for others. Caroline brings all aspects of her background and expertise to her work. She works at the interface of science, health care policy and health care daily practice with a special focus on integrated health care and transitions in health care systems.


Khotan Harmon

Khotan Shahbazi-Harmon is a multiple award-winning journalist, social innovation and social entrepreneurship leader.  Khotan is at the forefront of education, health, equity and workforce work in Austin, Texas. She started a high-tech venture that went viral with a million users; created a community MBA program that helped very low-income women get off public assistance through entrepreneurship; serves on Austin Mayor’s Taskforce on Institutional Racism and Systemic Inequities; and is facilitating an in-school flu vaccine program to keep kids healthy and in school learning. Her board service includes Leadership Austin and Peace Through Commerce. While in Washington, D.C. and Prague, she focused on executive leadership, leadership development, education and management consulting.  Khotan lives in Austin with her husband Wade and their very spoiled cat ZuZu!  She enjoys cooking, swimming, yoga, traveling and the arts, in her spare time she lectures at The University of Texas on religion and journalism.

Priscila Izidoro 

Priscila Izidoro is from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She works developing opportunities for global business projects and connections. She loves being in contact with different people, getting to know their culture, behavior and history. She has been drafting her path, being sincerely grateful for every step and looking for bringing purpose into her personal and professional life. She is a Member of the International Relations Council at her city and has previously worked as a local Coordinator in a Governmental Exports Promotion Initiative. Earlier she worked at Accenture Brazil, as an International Mobilization Consultant, and had also experience in contract`s management and supply chain. Post-graduated in Business Management focused on Marketing, and Bachelor`s degree in International Trade (2004), her biggest motivation is knowledge. Her strength and source of love is her 10 years old son. She found out her balance and peace practicing Integral Yoga and daily meditation.

Robin Pruitt

Robin grew up in South Carolina, studied law in Boston, practiced corporate law in New York City for about 6 years, then found her way to San Diego in 1989. She has served as general counsel to a variety of public and private corporations in San Diego. After more than 25 years as a corporate lawyer, Robin switched gears, attended culinary school and nutrition school and now focuses on nutrition- and health-related issues. From 2012-2017 Robin provided volunteer consulting services to local nonprofits through San Diego Social Venture Partners, an organization that helps promising nonprofits build their capacity by improving their business operations.



Elisa Wrona Rosenthal Tawil

Elisa Wrona Rosenthal Tawil was born and lives in São Paulo – Brazil. She studied Architecture  and Urbanism and is postgraduate degree in Business Administration, with extension in Real Estate Business . For 15 years she had been active in the real estate market and since January 2017 had entrepreneur with her own comoany of consultancy and management on real estate market.  Alongside Marc Tawil, her husband, she developed the Networking 4.0 concept and is responsible for the commercial area of ​​MTWL(agency of influential marketing and premium content) Member of the Women’s of Brazil Group ( and member of Leadership and Female Empowerment of Fisesp (São Paulo’s Israeli federation), ambassador for racial equality at the Instituto Identidades do Brasil – ID_BR ( idealizing and responsible for the Vieses Femininos project (Instagram @viesesfemininos)

Maria Cecilia Saraiva Mendes Goncalves (Sissi)

Sissi was born and live in São Paulo, Brazil. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Brazil and 8 years later she pursued a Master degree in Business – MBA from Thurderbird School of International Management in Phoenix, AZ.

She is part of the fourth generation of a Brazilian family business which is 103 years old. It is a book store chain. She has been participating on the company board the last 12 years always devoted to people some what related to the company. She has a very caring way to look at people.

Besides the family business she worked for the IFC- World Bank in São Paulo. And she was President of a small scholl  founded by her father for needing children from 2 to 6 years old.

She is mother of Stella (10) and wife of Rodrigo.

Franciska Dekker

I am one of the managing partners of Tiara International LLC – Global Leadership Team. I am a systems thinker, both a pragmatic person and idealist. Expertise in Leadership Development, Personal Strategy, Executive Coaching, Inspiring Women’s Leadership, and Leadership Journeys.

What makes me tick is leading a full and authentic life, sourced from inspiration while supporting others at doing the same.

My key values: freedom (to be), exploration/adventure, flow & presence, heart connection, humor & play.

I have an academic backgroung (MSc in tropical grassland ecology), worked for FAO in Niger and Barbados a couple of years after graduating in 1986. Then worked in different roles/positions with Wageningen Agricultural University in the NL. Growing over time into the field of leadership development, educated a.o. in psycho-energetic therapy, training and communication skills, team coaching, inspirational leadership and coaching with horses.

Luana Gabriela de A. Pereira

Luana is 25 yrs old and holds a Biomedicine bachelor by accident. She began her entrepreneurial life at 19 and turned around a family business doubling its results in one year. She decided to specialize in leadership and project management before joining Grupo Anga in 2015. Since Luana became the COO in Eureca (Grupo Anga’s enterprise), Eureca grew up more than 100% per year, created customer centric KPIs and started to operate all over the country in more than 14 states.

I’m passionate about helping teams to push themselves beyond to deliver incredible results.



Maggie Inbamuthiah

Maggie Inbamuthiah is Director, Communities and Corporate Engagement at India with focus on building a community of women technologists in India.  Maggie has 20+ years of experience in building and deploying enterprise technology solutions for large organizations. She has a deep understanding of building a career in technology and the challenges faced by women in the workforce. Before starting with India, Maggie was on an entrepreneurial journey, co-founding three technology startups. Throughout her career Maggie has been a mentor for many women guiding them through their career paths. Maggie is also a writer and is passionate about creating social impact through the power of networks and sharing of knowledge. To this effort she has co-founded a social enterprise, Mandram to curate innovative ideas as talks in Indian regional languages.

She loves teaching Yoga and is a Reiki grandmaster and healer.

Nina Jo Muse

Nina Jo Muse, MD currently shepherds the ten Texas state mental health hospitals in all things psychiatric as Chief Medical Officer.  Her professional life has been spent in psychiatric clinical quality oversight of various facilities with an emphasis on child and adolescent treatment.  This has led to expertise in statistical process control, data visualization design, clinical guideline development, patient safety evaluation systems, and clinical team building. In her spare moments she serves as an advisor of Peace Through Commerce, a non-profit organization with a visionary model of peacebuilding through alignment of government, economics, and culture with historically emergent human consciousness shifts.  This endeavor has catalyzed an ongoing inward personal journey toward appreciation, joy, and agape.


Jeanne Rahilly

Jeanne Rahilly is a transformation coach passionate about human evolution. She is a mother of two young children who inspires her to dedicate her life and her support to rise the consciousness in humanity so that we can co-create together a promising future for the generations to come.

Jeanne is convinced that it is by rising the feminine energy in each and every one of us that we will be able to continue to live in harmony on our planet.

Jeanne is certified as a coach by Integral Coaching Canada, accredited with the tools of the Barrett Values Center (UK) and has participated in several courses including Tony Robbins’ “Unleash the Power Within”, the “Institute de Development de la Personne” (QC), Wisdom of Women, Vipassana, IRRSN (naturopathic studies) and many others.

She teaches, gives lectures, coaches and animates various groups of women.

Ayesha Shaukatullah

Ayesha Shaukatullah is the SEALA Network Manager since August 2015. Her work experience includes working as Regional Head and General Manager at The Educators, a project of Beaconhouse School System, based in Islamabad. Previously, she was General Manager of Operations, and School Group Head, Northern Region at Beaconhouse School System.

Previously, she spent five years at Headstart School as Academic Coordinator and then Vice Principal with duties ranging from admissions and syllabus planning to hiring, training, parental outreach, and teaching (mathematics and computer studies).
Ms. Shaukatullah started her own web development company in 1997, W3designers, managing website projects for international organizations and many local businesses based in Islamabad.
Earlier in her career (1990-2001) she also taught web programming in California and served as a consultant technical writer, and web developer for Silicon Valley-based software companies.

Iris Sadeh Rosler

Iris has MA in Communication and Journalism and works as Oraganizational Consultant and Qualified Group Facilitator. She is a certified coach of “True Purpose” and has 20 years experience in process facilitation of Task and Empowerment Groups.

Iris is an instructor in unique and innovative methods of ODT workshops. She is the creator of “MAOF” program for empowering women managers inside the organization.

Iris has experience in:

  • Leading complex projects for Governmental Organizations
  • Individual and Group Training of Managers in the Organization
  • Empowering and coaching women individually and in groups
  • Leading task groups to professional and personal goals
  • Presenting in International Conferences

Iris works and lives in Israel. She is active in Tehila-Parents support parents of LGBT children.

Iris is the chairperson of Hod Hasharon ‘All” and board member of ‘Torat Hayim’ Egalitarian conservative Jewish community. She practices Ashtanga Yoga, dances Israeli and salsa and loves to hike with her husband and children.

Rebecca Saltman

Rebecca Saltman has developed an extensive career collaborating from the Front Range of Colorado and across the country, within the worlds of social entrepreneurship, cause marketing and media justice.  She has embraced and redefined the tenets of community building, public relations, and media networking at organizations from Ashoka to Dex Media, Alliance for Sustainable Colorado to Steven Spielberg’s Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation. Recognized as a social entrepreneur, she worked as adjunct faculty at both Goucher College and Metro State University.  Rebecca is currently working as the community engagement officer for Issue Media Group, Community Engagement Ambassador for Ubuntu Planet USA as well as a passionate wellness advocate with doTERRA. Rebecca is the Founder of A Foot in the Door Productions, a 18-year-old collaboration-building firm designed to bridge the varying needs of business, government, nonprofits, academia and media.

Angelica Cortes

Maria Angelica Cortes was born in Bogota, Colombia. She moved to Miami, FL USA in 2004 at the age of 13 and Graduated Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2016. At the age of 23,  she began to pursue her undeniable passion for the Arts through movement becoming a Professional Latin Dancer. As a result of personal hardships and social observations, she knew she needed to become an advocate for cultivating empowerment, wellness, and self-expression. Movement and energy work became a vehicle to deliver her vision– in particular with children. She is now a certified Spectrum Dance Instructor for children and young adults with autism, a Certified Vinyasa Yoga instructor, and Quantum Energy Worker (TQA). Today she is in the process of becoming an Options Trader while managing Making Moves Universal LLC; a fun, movement-based transformational program – not related to skill or fitness – to help people move into a state of being that enhances healing. Currently launching a project at The Nicklaus Children Hospital in Miami designed to secure better medical outcomes and improve the quality of life of patients, caregivers, and providers.

Christina Gottschau

Christina Gottschau was born and currently lives again in Duesseldorf, Germany. Her first career was in the hotel industry before she then earned a Magister Atrium (M.A.) at the FU Berlin before entering the Corporate world. She is among the pioneers of corporate Diversity Management in Germany, having worked in this field of organizational strategy and human resources since more than 12 years. With her overall 27 years work experience she makes an impact with her ability to bring theoretical concepts to life. She is a believer of lifelong learning, bringing passion, creativity and out-of-the-box thinking and a genuine interest in engaging people, utilizing talents and meeting business objectives. In June 2017 she founded her own business Raven Business Transformations, being a consultant and trainer for Diversity & Inclusion and business coach. She loves to travel and explore, enjoys reading books and being in nature.

Monica Jaramillo

Monica Jaramillo was born in Medellin, Colombia. Studied International Business in Colombia, had diverse international experiences during college and high school in US, Barcelona, Peru and was an exchange student in Bahia, Brazil during her last semester. Lived in Bahia for 12 years, where she started her career in human resources in companies like Ford Motor Co, Avon Cosmetics and Gerdau. Monica has a master’s degree in Jungian Psychology and Art therapy and has done courses in Coaching, Trans-personal and Gestalt therapy, aromatherapy and Reiki. She moved to Bogata, Colombia in 2012 as a HR leader for Gerdau.
In Colombia Monida started working with women empowerment and diversity, first within her company and later became a member and leader of the group Mulheres do Brazil (Women of Brazil group) in Colombia.
Monica has now moved to Tampa, Florida and is now settling into her new role at Gerdau and the new home and city.
Monica is a people oriented person and loves to read, art and painting, travel and practice Yoga.

Christina Long

Christina Long is Chief Culture & People Office for Redemption Plus, who partners with Bowling and Family Entertainment Centers to create incredible quest experiences through innovative services and redemption prize solutions. In her role, she is responsible for developing and executing on people strategies and change management to reinforce and support our culture, core values, behaviors and strategic growth plans. As a previous business owner and business consultant, her unique and well-rounded business acumen has proved valuable, with developing and executing profitable revenue growth strategies combined with a highly engaged culture. Christina has a passion for building purpose driven, people-centric, conscious business environments.

Christina is a founding board member of Conscious Capitalism Kansas City. She has also been honored as one of the Most Influential Women in Kansas City, as well as a Women Who Mean’s business for her impact on business and the community as a women top executive.

Maria Moncada Alaoui

Maria Moncada Alaoui is the General Manager for BMW of West Houston on the Katy Freeway. She’s been in the automotive industry for more than 20 years and held several positions, working her way up from administration to sales to management. Maria has been with BMW for over twelve years and proudly serves as General Manager.

In this position, she oversees all sales operations, and seven departments, and over 190 associates. She is responsible for customer and associate satisfaction as well as making sure the company is not only profitable but reaches its full potential.

Maria is passionate about giving back to the Houston community and is an involved board member of several charitable organizations. Maria is married to Omar, whom she credits for being her strongest supporter and encourager. She has an amazing step-son, Joseph. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family.
