Day 22: Perfection….and Thank You!

Perfection….and Thank You!
They say it takes 10,000 hours to build a level of mastery over a skill or competence. That is, if we put in about 3 hours of daily practice or work on it, we will get to master it in about 10 years.
Thank you for joining us in this 21-day Shakti Leadership Challenge, to #RiseInLoveTogether!
It has been a joy and a privilege to have hosted this and journeyed with each of you.
Let’s commit to take this call all the way, to its perfect expression and completion!
For Perfection is the last of the four power-bases or core aspects of Shakti: Completing the four corner-stones needed to build a Divine Life here on Earth.
We can have all the wisdom, strength and harmony but these powers remain un-formed without the power to complete them through to perfection.
If Wisdom was the Air element, Strength-Fire, Harmony-Water, then Perfection is Earth, the element that finally materializes our intention into form.
Perfection means showing the infinite patience and commitment, to go the distance and materializing the original inspiration or idea into a ‘fully finished’ finite reality and form.
It is embodied in the mythic feminine archetype of Goddess Mahasaraswati. Sri Aurobindo describes this Shakti for us to better understand.
- – Do I consider diligence or Perfection as my strength?
– In what situation do I find myself being quality conscious? In what relationship do I find myself being conscientious?
– On a scale of 1-10, how do I rate myself as attentive to perfection and why?
– If I were to relax something that blocks me from being perfect, or striving for it, what is it? And what can I relax and let go, offer up to my higher-self, for release now?
If Perfection were a power I could call upon and enter into relationship with, what would I ask for? How would I do so in a way that is true for me? And for the highest good? Go ahead and invoke this power now.
And perform one ACT of perfection today. 🙂
NOTE: As with Harmony, this last of the four core aspects of Shakti requires that we, on our part, meet certain conditions to be able to gain the full grace of Perfection.
As a closing gift, this JOURNEY through THE FIVE ELEMENTS, is contained in our Shakti Leadership Symbol. You can use it as a yantra (meditative geometry) to access, embody and manifest your Shakti graciously any time you want!
Look for the power of Perfection at work in the story of Psyche, who diligently completes the FOUR tasks set out for her. The speech is by Jean Shinoda Bolen, an expert on the mythology-as-psychology of women and men. See if you can map the four tasks to achieve the four power-bases of Shakti! If Psyche’s story is the Heroine’s Journey, or that of our Soul, which is considered Feminine, look up the 12 labors of Hercules, the archetypal hero and his journey. I wonder if the Soul‘s journey of immanence (entering this body-world) is complemented by the Hero in us, our masculine Ego; which is called to master the necessary qualities to transcend itself? Look it up and let me know if you can map the 12 labors to the 12 qualities we have challenged ourselves to develop from the Mother’s Symbol! It would be cool to find the inner-Hero and inner- Heroine’s Journey milestones as having been covered right here in our 21-day challenge! That would be the PERFECT Journey to Shakti Leadership: To Presence, Power, Wholeness, Flexibility & Congruence.
Optional Practice: Yoga of the Cells
Distil perfection down to your cells with this meditation today. Empowered by The Mother’s grace and the Shakti Leadership Yantra, this meditation will help you shread and release any disease or discomfort and replace them with divine templates of health, so that you are ready to launch forth into the world with your Shakti Leadership.
